What is Cloud Car Care?
Cloud Car Care. It sounds like a buzzword, but for us at Vohnt, it’s a new way of life. When we look at what the future holds, in our eyes, this is what we believe:
In the future, you will not have to spend time on car care, car service, or car repair.
The industry as we know it will fundamentally change to meet the convenience and cost demands of consumers. (Think how Amazon changed the retail space)
One touch car care. In the same way Amazon invented the one click purchase, Vohnt is working to create the one click car care equivalent.
To understand where we’re going, we need to understand where we are now. If you need to get your car washed or detailed, you have three options.
Take it to a car wash (automatic or manual) and vacuum center.
Schedule a full car detail with a shop or mobile provider.
Do it yourself in your driveway.
These options in our eyes are broken because they take too much of your time and money. With option one, you have to pay $12 and take 30 minutes of your time to do it. That could be a lunch break, after work, or on the weekend. With option two, you have to scratch out 3-5 hours of time without your car, and most of the time that’s going to be on the weekend or you’re going to be without your car for a day.
Now let’s dive into car repair and car service. These might make you cringe even more. If you need to get your oil changed you could either do it yourself if you have the knowledge, take it to your mechanic, or drive through a quick lube.
In the same way outlined above, these are time intensive and inconvenient. In 2020 alone, there was over $22 billion in delayed car maintenance. The main causes for this were:

At Vohnt we look at these numbers and we’re upset. Not at you, but at the industry as a whole for not addressing the concerns everyone has. Cloud Car Care addresses your concerns. We care for your car on its time, not yours. During the work day or overnight we have a team of certified drivers who will pick up your car for you eliminating the inconvenience of taking care of your car. We created processes that are so efficient that we can reduce the cost. Instead of taking more margin, we redirect that to you, the consumer, and charge less for services that normally cost more. And finally, to address lack of trust, we created technology allowing you to know where your car is, what is happening, and what you should look out for in the future. We’re up front with you about every aspect of how we care for your car because you deserve that, and we exist to serve you.
